Luanna M. Vianna

Luanna Vianna is an Associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. She focuses her practice on the representation of companies, investors, and funds in complex capital raising, merger, acquisition, and investment transactions in a wide variety of industries, including technology, telecommunications, financial services, and supply chain and logistics. In addition, Luanna supports clients in the firm’s fractional general counsel programs.

Prior to joining Shaw Lewenz, Luanna was corporate and M&A counsel at a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) and a leading independent owner and operator of wireless communications infrastructure. In that role, she supported domestic and international acquisitions and dispositions ranging from $1.5 million to $460 million, including portfolio acquisitions involving up to 3,000 sites. She drafted purchase agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other transactional documents, coordinated cross-functional due diligence in the United States, Brazil, South Africa, and Tanzania, and served as the primary legal point of contact throughout each transaction.

Luanna brings more than two decades of transactional experience to her practice. Before becoming an attorney, she spent over ten years as a senior paralegal on a mergers and acquisitions team, managing due diligence for international acquisitions, and previously managed transaction teams at a Miami law office and title company. Luanna is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Luanna obtained her LL.M. in Corporate Law, cum laude, from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D., cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law. Prior to law school, Luanna obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English and Business Law, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University.
