Beatriz “Bea” Carta is a seasoned litigator in Shaw Lewenz’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Beatriz represents businesses and individuals in disputes involving complex commercial litigation, partnership disputes, employment litigation, real estate litigation, and construction litigation.
Formerly an Am Law 100 litigator, Beatriz has actively participated in multi-week jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations. Her experience involves both state and federal courts as well as various ADR tribunals. Beatriz has a passion for sophisticated matters with complex problems, and she brings a sense of calm to the proverbial storm for her clients and colleagues.
Beatriz obtained an LLM in International Law from the University of Miami, and her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law where she was the Salutatorian (#2) of her class. She obtained her B.A. in International Studies from the University of South Florida.
