Lauren N. Palen is an Associate at Shaw Lewenz and a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Lauren represents businesses and individuals in disputes involving complex commercial litigation, securities and stockholder litigation, consumer litigation, and financial services litigation. She also assists clients in white-collar criminal matters, government investigations, and appeals.

Lauren has represented clients in matters across the United States and plays an active role in many of the firm’s largest and most sophisticated cases. She regularly appears before federal and state courts, including the Complex Business Divisions in both the 11th and 17th Judicial Circuits, and is relied upon by the firm to prepare some of its most complicated briefing.

Lauren obtained her J.D., cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Board and won the prestigious John T. Gaubatz Moot Court Competition. An extraordinary writer, Lauren also won Best Brief in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. Prior to law school, Lauren obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
