Gabriel E. Morales

Gabriel E. “Gabe” Morales is an Associate in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Gabe represents businesses and individuals in matters involving contract and partnership disputes, securities and stockholder litigation, corporate dissolutions, business tort litigation, restrictive covenant disputes, real estate litigation, and class action litigation. He represents clients through all stages of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, trial, and appeals.

Gabe represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts in a wide variety of industries and subject matters. His experience includes obtaining a plaintiff-side summary judgment in federal court, securing the dismissal of claims against financial institutions, and obtaining a favorable settlement in excess of actual damages mid trial. He has helped secure emergency injunctive relief to enforce restrictive covenants and preserve corporate assets, and played a key role in obtaining the appointment of a receiver over a company accused of operating a $328 million Ponzi scheme. His experience also includes helping secure a favorable settlement for a Fortune 500 subsidiary in a federal partnership dispute and defending several trial court rulings on appeal.

Gabe earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University. He has been recognized for his commercial litigation work by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers Rising Stars. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Broward County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and is fluent in Spanish.
