Alexander J. Starkey is an Associate at Shaw Lewenz, and a member of the firm’s Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation Practice Groups. He represents individuals in personal injury litigation matters involving car accidents, slip and falls, premises liability, and more. Alex also represents businesses and individuals in cases against insurance companies and brokers, for breach of contract, coverage disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Alex graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Prior to joining Shaw Lewenz, Mr. Starkey worked in the Miami office of a regional civil litigation firm, where he defended personal injury cases stemming from car accidents, negligent security, premises liability, and products liability. Alex also has experience representing debtors in federal bankruptcy courts.
